Set up a service

Describe what a service includes, collect a client brief with a Zanfia form or your own form link, set delivery time and revisions, and see what the client gets after purchase.

A service is a product for custom or done-for-you work: the client pays, tells you what they need in a brief, and you deliver. When you finish these steps the service lists what is included, asks the client for a brief right after purchase, and shows the delivery time and the number of revision rounds.

Set up the service

1

Open the service

In the left sidebar open Products → Services (/services) and create a service or open an existing one. The editor is directly on the product's Content tab, with no extra screen: three sections on the left (What's included, Client brief, Delivery), the What your client sees panel beside them, and the save status with a Save button at the top right.

2

List what's included

In What's included type the first deliverable, for example a logo in three variants, and click Add deliverable for each next one. The bin icon removes a row; the last remaining row cannot be removed.

3

Choose how the client sends the brief

In Client brief pick one of two options:

  • Zanfia form: the client fills in the brief in their library. The form starts with three questions (What is your business about?, Links to your current materials, Files (logo, assets, examples)). Edit them, add more with Add question, choose a type for each (Short text, Long text, Choice, File upload) and mark it Required if needed. A Choice question gets a field for the choices, separated by commas. Only questions that have a text are saved.
  • External form link: paste the link to a form you already have. An incomplete address shows Enter a full link, starting with https://. Links to Tally, Typeform and Google Forms get a green badge with the tool's name.
4

Decide what the thank-you page shows

Below the brief settings, the switch Show the brief button on the success page controls whether the client is pointed to the brief straight after paying. It is on by default.

5

Set delivery time and revisions

In Delivery enter the Delivery time (1 to 90, in days or weeks) and pick the Revision rounds: 1, 2, 3 or Unlimited. The tile in the preview panel updates as you type.

6

Preview the brief and save

Click Fill in the brief on the tile in What your client sees. With a Zanfia form a window opens with the form exactly as the client fills it in; Send brief there only shows Just a preview - nothing was sent. With an external link the button opens your form in a new tab. The button is inactive until the brief has at least one question or a valid link. Changes are saved automatically: the status goes from Unsaved changes to Saving… and Saved. Save stores them at once.

7

Add a checkout and publish

A service is sold like any other product: add a checkout with a price on the Checkouts tab and click Publish. See Create a checkout and The product hub.

What the client sees after purchase

On the thank-you page, right after paying:

Brief settingWhat the thank-you page shows
Zanfia form, switch onLog in and fill in your brief in your library - the creator starts from your answers.
External form link with a valid link, switch onA Fill in your brief button that opens your form.
Switch off, or no question and no linkThe creator will reach out with the next steps for your project.

In the client's library, after opening the service:

Brief settingWhat the library shows
Zanfia formWhat's included, the delivery time and revisions, and the brief form with a Send brief button.
External form link with a valid linkThe same details and a Fill in your brief button that opens your form in a new tab.
No question and no linkThe same details and the note The creator will reach out with next steps.

The switch only affects the thank-you page. In the library the brief is always available when it is configured.

After sending a Zanfia form the client sees Brief submitted and can correct the answers with Edit answers. A file attached to the brief can be up to 25 MB.

Where the answers arrive

When a client sends a Zanfia form brief, you get a notification in the app: [name] submitted the brief for [product] - see the answers on the customer card. Open the client in Customers (/customers): the activity timeline shows Brief submitted with a View answers button, and the Briefs filter narrows the timeline to briefs. Answers sent through an external form stay in that tool.

Good to know

Delivery time and revision rounds are information for the client; how and where you hand over the finished work is up to you. Old links ending in /editor/... still work and open the Content tab.
