Run your community and content with the Assistant
Ask the AI Assistant to read and post in your community, manage members and settings, tidy the newsletter archive and the media library, and answer client messages, always with your confirmation first.
The Assistant can take over routine work in your community, newsletter, media library and client inbox. It reads the real content, prepares the change, and asks before anything reaches your members or clients. This page shows what to ask for in each area and where to check the result.
How confirmation works here
Before the Assistant posts, sends or changes something that other people see, it repeats the exact wording or names the current value, and offers quick-reply buttons (for example Yes / Not yet). Nothing is posted or sent until you confirm. What it posts appears under your name, exactly as if you had written it yourself.
Community posts and chat
| Ask for | Example request | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| A summary of recent activity | "What have people been talking about in my community lately?" | A summary based on the real posts, comments and chat messages. |
| A post, a comment or a chat message | "Post this in the chat channel: office hours tomorrow at 10:00." | It shows the text and asks first; after your yes the message is in the channel. |
| A correction | "Change 10:00 to 11:00 in the message you just sent." | It quotes the current text, asks, then updates it. |
| Pinning, channels and groups | "Pin the welcome post." "Create a channel for questions." | The post is pinned; channels and groups are created, renamed or moved. |
| Events | "Add a live Q&A to the community calendar for Friday at 18:00." | The event is created; it can later be changed or canceled. |
| Reported content | "Is anything waiting in the moderation queue?" | It lists reports from members and resolves them on your instruction. |
Deleting a chat message erases it for good, so the Assistant does not do it; delete it yourself in the community.
Members, roles and settings
| Ask for | Example request | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| The member list | "List the members of my community." | The real members, with their status. |
| Disabling a member | "Disable Jan Kowalski's access." | It explains that this is a switch, not a removal, and asks. Afterwards the member's Status on the Members list reads Disabled. |
| Enabling again | "Enable Jan Kowalski again." | The status returns to Active. |
| Muting | "Mute Jan Kowalski for 1 hour." | It asks, then tells you when the mute ends on its own. |
| Roles | "Give Jan Kowalski the Moderator role." | It names the member and the roles they will have, asks, then assigns. It can also create, edit and reorder roles. |
| Settings | "Turn off video uploads for members." | It quotes the current value and asks. Check it in the community's Settings, tab Access & features, switch Allow video uploads. |
Deleting a role is permanent and stays in the dashboard. The Assistant suggests unassigning or editing the role instead.
Newsletter archive
Ask "List the issues in my newsletter's archive, including hidden ones" to see every issue marked as visible or hidden. Then:
- "Hide the issue [subject] from subscribers" hides it; "show it again" brings it back.
- "Subscribers should only see issues sent after they subscribed" changes the Access strategy to From subscribe date. Because this changes what subscribers can read, the Assistant asks first.
- It can draft a new issue for you and publish the draft when you say so.
The Assistant does not delete an issue: what was sent stays sent. It offers hiding instead.
Media library
- "Rename the video [current name] to [new name] and add a one-sentence description." The name and description are display details; the file keeps working everywhere it is used. Check the result in Media (
/media). - "Move it to the folder [folder]" moves the item; "create a folder for webinars" adds a folder.
- Renaming a folder to a name that already exists merges the two folders and cannot be split afterwards. The Assistant warns about this and waits for your yes.
- "What is said in the video [name]?" is answered from the video's transcript. For a video without a transcript it says so rather than guessing.
Messages from clients
| Ask for | Example request | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Who is waiting | "Which customers are waiting for a reply from me?" | Your conversations, with the ones where the client wrote last pointed out. |
| A recap | "Read me the conversation with Anna." | A faithful summary of the thread. |
| A reply | "Reply to Anna: the recording will be up tomorrow." | It shows the exact text and asks. The reply then appears in Inbox (/communication), tab Direct messages. |
| A correction or marking as read | "Fix the typo in that reply." "Mark it as read." | The message is corrected, or the conversation leaves the waiting list. |
The Assistant does not send one message to all clients at once and does not delete messages. For an announcement to everyone, use an email campaign; see Send an email campaign.
Good to know
Everything on this page follows team roles. A team member who cannot manage content or clients in the dashboard cannot do it through the Assistant either. More about communities is in Communities, and about the client inbox in The inbox: direct messages.
