Create a signup page
Generate a lead magnet, newsletter, waitlist or webinar signup page that comes with its own form and thank-you page, publish the set, and see who signed up.
A signup page collects e-mail addresses: for a free resource, a newsletter, a waitlist or a webinar. When you generate one, Zanfia creates the signup form and a matching thank-you page for you. At the end of these steps you will have a published page that takes signups and a list of the people who signed up.
Build and publish the page
Pick a signup goal
Open Your site → Pages & Funnels (/sites/pages), click New page or funnel and choose
Lead magnet, Newsletter, Waitlist or Webinar. The editor opens with the
Assistant tab.
Describe it in one message
Tell the assistant what people sign up for and who it is for, for example the topic, date and time of a webinar. It may ask one round of short questions; write "generate" to skip them. The assistant never asks you about a form or where signups should go: the form is created for you. For a lead magnet, the What should I prepare? card has a File to download row where you can Pick a file right away.
Check the set of pages
When generation finishes, the page loads into the canvas with a signup section styled like the rest of the page. The chat tells you that a thank-you page was created too; a webinar also gets a Webinar room page. Use the page switcher in the top bar of the editor to move between the pages of the set. In the pages list the set shows as one card tagged Funnel, and in list view the companion pages are indented under the main page.
Set what happens on signup
Open the Form tab of the editor.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Tags | Tags "applied to everyone who signs up through this page". Pick existing tags or add a new one. |
| Signup confirmation | Instant: "The signup applies at once, no confirmation e-mail." By e-mail: "The signup completes when the visitor clicks the link in the confirmation e-mail." |
| Confirmation e-mail | With By e-mail: uses the default copy from Your site → E-mails, or click Edit to set a custom Subject and Intro above the button for this form. |
| Thank-you page | "Where the visitor lands right after signing up." Open switches the editor to it. |
| File to download | Lead magnet pages: Pick a file from your media library. The thank-you page then shows a download button right after signup. |
Publish
Click Publish in the top bar of the main page. Its companion pages (thank-you page, webinar room) are published together with it, so a visitor never lands on a missing page after signing up. Unpublishing the main page unpublishes them too.
Test it as a visitor
Click Open live, submit the form with a test address, and check that the browser moves to the thank-you page. With By e-mail confirmation, open the confirmation e-mail and click its link to complete the signup.
Good to know
In the editor preview the form cannot be submitted; test signups on the live page. If the page is still a draft, Open preview shows it to logged-in team members only.
See who signed up
In Pages & Funnels the page shows a chip with the number of signups, for example 0 signups, then 1 signup. Click the chip to open Signups - [page title] with the e-mail, first name and date of every signup. The Signup settings (form) link at the bottom opens the form itself. In the editor, the Funnel tab shows the same numbers under Results.
The form that backs the page is named after the page and is listed with your other forms in Marketing → Forms (/marketing/forms). Forms as a standalone feature, including embedding a form on another website, are covered in Create a signup form.
E-mails around the page
| Page kind | What the assistant can draft |
|---|---|
| Lead magnet | A delivery e-mail sent after signup. It stays a draft until you activate it; the What's left checklist and the Form tab both link to it. |
| Webinar | Reminders before the event and follow-ups after it, drafted around the webinar date. Review and schedule them before they go out. |
The Activate emails action publishes the delivery e-mail and schedules the follow-ups in one go. Any e-mail that still contains a [FILL IN] marker is skipped until you complete it. Automations and campaigns are described in Email & campaigns; funnels and one-time offers after signup in Marketing & growth.
