What your clients see
A tour of the client side of a course: the library with its tiles and the Continue watching row, the course player, lesson tabs, notes, quizzes and certificates.
Your clients learn in the client area of your own site, not in the Zanfia dashboard. This page describes what they see there, so you can answer their questions and check your course from their side. To look at it yourself, use Preview lesson → View as student in the course editor.
The library
After logging in, a client opens My Products in the top menu (/app/library on your site). It shows a tile with the cover image for every product they have access to.
| Element | What it does |
|---|---|
| Filter pills | All plus one pill per product type the client owns, for example Course or Community. |
| View switch | Grid view, Gallery view and List view. |
| Continue watching | A row at the top with the courses the client has started and not finished. |
| Product tiles | Click a tile to go straight into the product. |
| Preview (eye button) | Opens a product window with the main button (Watch for a course) and a gear button that leads to the product page with access details. |
Hovering a tile shows what a click will do: Watch the course, Go to the community, Read the newsletter, Browse the knowledge base, Download the files, Join the event or Book a session. A course or a community opens directly, with no window in between. Downloads, events and consultations open the product window instead, where the main button is Download all, Join event or Book.
Continue watching
| Rule | Behavior |
|---|---|
| When the row appears | As soon as the client has opened a lesson in at least one course. A client who started nothing sees no row. |
| What a tile shows | The lesson to resume, a progress bar and a caption such as "1 of 5 lessons". |
| Where a click leads | Straight to the lesson the client had open last, not to the beginning of the course. |
| Order | The most recently watched course comes first. The row holds up to 8 courses. |
| Filters | The row is shown only with the All filter selected. |
| Finished courses | A completed course leaves the row and stays among the regular tiles. |
The course player
A course opens at /app/courses/<course> on your site. The lesson is in the main area and the list of modules and lessons is next to it (Hide lesson list and Show lesson list fold it).
| Part | What the client can do |
|---|---|
| Lesson list | Open any unlocked lesson. Completed lessons are marked; locked modules and lessons show a lock, and dripped ones a countdown such as "Access in 3 days". |
| Below the lesson | Previous lesson, Mark as completed and Next lesson. A quiz has no manual completion; it is completed by taking it. |
| Autoplay | When on, finishing a video or an audio lesson opens the next lesson. |
| Lesson description | The text you wrote in the Content tab, plus the Chapters and Moments of a video. A text lesson shows its content in the main area instead. |
| Files | The lesson's attachments with Download. The tab appears only when the lesson has attachments. |
| Notes | Private notes: a General note for the lesson or a note tied to a moment of the video. Notes from current lesson and Notes from all lessons switch the list. |
| Ask the course | The AI tutor, when you turned it on. See The "Ask the course" AI tutor. |
Video and audio lessons are completed automatically when they are played to the end. Progress is saved to the client's account, so it follows them to another browser or device.
Quizzes and certificates
A quiz lesson shows its rules and Start quiz; the result is Passed or Not this time, and passing a gating quiz announces what it unlocked. Details are in Quizzes.
When a course with automatic certificates is completed, the client sees Congratulations! You've earned a certificate in the course and finds the PDF under My Certificates in the top menu (/app/certificates). See Course certificates.
Good to know
Clients only ever see modules and lessons that are Published or Locked; drafts do not exist for them. If a client reports a missing lesson, check its status and the status of its module first. If a client cannot open the course at all, check their access on the course's Access tab; see Grant access manually. A client whose access ended sees "Access denied" instead of the course.
