Build a funnel from a template

Pick a funnel template, let AI write every page, then edit the steps on the funnel canvas, switch on the e-mails and read entries, signups and purchases.

A funnel is a path: a visitor lands on the first page, signs up or buys, and is led to the next step. When you finish, you will have a funnel with AI-written pages, a draft e-mail sequence and a canvas that shows how many people reach each step. Funnels live next to your pages in Your site → Pages & Funnels and are available on every plan.

Free opt-in offer means the template uses the product's free checkout and creates and activates one when the product has none. A template you cannot use yet (no product, or no product with a paid checkout) has Use template disabled, with the reason shown on hover.

Create the funnel

1

Open the funnel templates

Go to Your site → Pages & Funnels (/sites/pages) and click New page or funnel. On the What do you want to build? screen choose Build a funnel. The Funnel templates screen opens (/sites/pages/funnel-templates). Each card shows the chain of steps; Preview opens the chain on a read-only canvas.

2

Use a template

Click Use template. In the Start from: [template] window pick the Product the funnel sells or delivers and, optionally, a Funnel name. The window tells you which language the pages and e-mails will be written in: it is your interface language. The Webinar and 5-day challenge templates ask for a start date and time zone as well. Click Create funnel.

3

Wait for the pages

The page editor opens and shows Writing the funnel pages. The first finished page opens in the editor; the others keep writing in the background and you get a notification when each one is ready. Every page is a draft until you publish it. If a page fails to generate, you can add it later on the canvas.

4

Open the funnel canvas

In the page editor switch the mode at the top to Funnel, or open the Funnel tab in the left panel and click Show funnel. The canvas shows the visitor's path from left to right, starting at the step marked Entry. Click a step to open it, drag a step to reorder it. Copy and design are edited on the page itself.

5

Add or remove steps

Click Add step and choose what to add: Page (a new page written with the assistant, or a page you already have), One-time offer (an offer page right after the signup, with a timer and a "No, thanks" link), Checkout (its one-time offers and thank-you page come with it) or E-mails (a new delivery sequence, or an automation you already have). Remove from the funnel takes a step out without deleting the page or the checkout.

6

Review and activate the e-mails

The e-mail sequence created with the funnel is a Draft: nothing is sent yet. Click the e-mail node to read the messages, then Activate e-mails and confirm Activate this funnel's e-mails?. From then on the sequence starts sending after every new signup.

7

Publish the pages

Open each page step and click Publish. On the canvas a step is marked Live once it is ready and Draft while it still needs your attention.

Good to know

The 5-day challenge also creates a mission course with one mission unlocking every morning at 7:00, a free registration offer, a cart-close deadline on the core offer (2 days after the last mission, unless the offer already has one) and 9 draft e-mails. The drafts sit in an E-mail calendar; nothing sends on its own until you review and schedule each one.

Read the results

Above the canvas a strip shows Entries, Signups and Purchases; the percentage next to each number is the conversion from the previous stage. Each step carries its own counters (views, signups, checkout sessions, purchases, and for a one-time offer how many times it was shown and accepted). Until the first visits arrive the canvas says Stats will show up after the first visits. Visits to an unpublished draft are not counted.

Find your funnels later

In Pages & Funnels the filter row has All, Funnels and Single pages, and pages that belong to a funnel carry a Funnel tag. Opening any of those pages and switching to Funnel brings back the canvas. Pages that were created separately can be joined with Turn these pages into a funnel on the same canvas.
