The Zanfia mobile app
What the Zanfia mobile app is, where your clients find the link to install it on iPhone and Android, and how the "Get the app" hint in the client area behaves.
The Zanfia mobile app is for your clients: the people who bought or joined your products. They install one app, sign in with the email they used with you, and open their courses, communities and the rest of their library on the phone. You do not build or publish anything; the app is the same for every creator and is available for iPhone, iPad and Android.
Where to get the app
| Store | Devices | Link |
|---|---|---|
| App Store | iPhone and iPad | https://apps.apple.com/app/zanfia/id6752349892 |
| Google Play | Android | https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zanfia.mobile |
You can paste these links into a welcome email, a lesson or a community post.
How your clients find it on your site
Clients do not need a link from you. The client area of your site points to the app in several places:
| Place | What the client sees |
|---|---|
| The hint bar, phones only | A slim bar above the top menu: "Enjoy your content on the go with the Zanfia app." with a Get the app link and an X to close it |
| The user menu | A Get the app entry, always available |
| The footer | A Get the app link at the bottom of every page of the client area |
| The Help screen | A Get the app entry in the client's settings, on sites that show the Help screen |
The entries in the menu, the footer and the Help screen open a small window, Get the Zanfia app, with "Pick the store for your phone." and two buttons: App Store (iPhone & iPad) and Google Play (Android).
How the hint bar behaves
It appears on phones and tablets only
A client who opens the client area or a community in a mobile browser sees the bar at the very top; the page content starts below it, nothing is covered. On a computer the bar is not shown.
The link opens the right store
Get the app in the bar opens the App Store on an iPhone or iPad and Google Play on an Android device, on the Zanfia app page. Following the link does not close the bar.
The X closes it for good in that browser
After the client taps the X, the bar disappears immediately and does not come back in that browser, also after a reload and on other pages. The choice is remembered per browser, so another browser or a private window shows the bar again.
Good to know
The hint bar cannot be switched off or edited per site, and it is shown only to signed-in clients inside the client area, not on your public pages or checkouts. A client who closed the bar still has Get the app in the user menu. On an iPhone, Safari may also show its own strip at the top that offers to open the app when it is already installed.
