Build a course
Open the course editor, add modules and lessons of any type, reorder them by dragging, and duplicate, move, import or delete content.
When you finish these steps your course has modules and lessons in the order you want, all saved as drafts that you publish when ready. You need a product of the type Course first; see Product types.
Open the course editor
In the sidebar open Products → Courses (/courses) and open your course. On its Course tab
click the Course content tile. The editor opens full screen at /courses/<productId>/lessons:
the course name in the top-left corner takes you back, the outline of modules and lessons is on
the left, and the selected lesson or module is on the right.
Start an empty course
A course with no lessons shows Upload videos: drop video files and each one becomes a lesson. Under Other ways to start: you can Add a text lesson, Paste video links or Generate with AI (a draft outline of modules and lesson titles, see AI tools in the course editor). The first lesson you add creates Module 1 automatically.
Add modules
Open the Add menu in the top-right corner. Under Module choose At the beginning or At the end, type the Module name in the New module window and confirm. Click a module name in the outline to open it: there you edit its name, description and thumbnail and see its lessons.
Add lessons
Use + Lesson in a module, or Add → Lessons in the top bar, and pick Video lesson, External video lesson, Audio lesson, Text lesson, Quiz or AI quiz. The lesson is created as Untitled lesson and opens right away. Type the title, and under it one sentence of description that is shown next to the lesson in the curriculum.
Fill in the lesson
The tabs depend on the lesson type: Video or Audio for the media, Content for the written part, Attachments for files clients can download (Add files picks them from your media library), and Settings for tags and drip. A quiz has Questions and Statistics instead of Content and Attachments. Changes save on their own; the top bar shows Saving… and then Saved.
Put everything in order
Drag a lesson or a module in the outline to move it, also between modules. You can also move the open lesson with the module selector under its title (Move to another module). Collapse all and Expand all fold the outline.
Preview and publish
Preview lesson opens the lesson you are editing in a new tab; the arrow next to it offers View as student. New modules and lessons are drafts and invisible to clients until you publish them, see Lesson statuses and drip.
Duplicate, convert, import and delete
| Action | Where | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Duplicate lesson | The ⋯ menu next to the lesson status, or the lesson row | A copy named "[title] (copy)" appears as a draft right below the original. |
| Duplicate module | The ⋯ menu of the module | A copy of the module with its lessons, named "[name] (copy)". |
| Change lesson type | The ⋯ menu, or the type selector under the lesson title | Switches between video, external video, audio and text. Leaving a video type removes the video or the link. |
| From another course | Add → Upload & import | Import from another course: Import entire course or Select modules and lessons. |
| Delete lesson | The ⋯ menu | Removes the lesson and its content. This cannot be undone. |
| Delete module | The ⋯ menu of the module | Removes the module and all its lessons. This cannot be undone. |
Good to know
Deleting a lesson or a module never deletes your files: uploaded videos stay in your media library
(Media, /media) and can be attached again. Removing a video from a lesson with Remove
video keeps the lesson's title and content. A lesson thumbnail is set with the image button next
to the title (Set thumbnail, Change thumbnail, Remove thumbnail); it is picked from
the images in your media library.
