Page settings and publishing
Set a page's address, the offer it sells, who can see it, its SEO and tracking options, then publish it, preview a draft as your team, and unpublish it again.
Every page has a Settings tab in the editor that controls where the page lives, what it sells and who can open it. This article lists each setting and explains how a page goes from Draft to Published and back.
Where the settings are
Open a page from Your site → Pages & Funnels (/sites/pages) and click the Settings tab in the left panel. Each row opens a small window; close it with Done, then click Save in the top bar. The offer and the files are the exception: they are saved the moment you pick them.
Page
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| URL slug | The page's address after your site address: [your site address]/[slug]. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. The copy icon copies the full link. |
| Page type | What the page does in your funnel, for example Sales page, Lead magnet, Webinar registration, Thank-you page or Other. It groups and filters the pages list and tells the assistant what it is working with. |
| Offer | The product and checkout this page sells. With nothing connected the row says "No offer is connected to this page yet." and the buy buttons have nowhere to go. Edit product and Edit checkout open them and bring you back. |
| How buying works | How the buy buttons reach the checkout: Link to the checkout (a separate checkout page), Side drawer (the checkout slides in, the buyer stays on the page), Window (the checkout opens in the middle of the page) or Order form. |
Two slugs cannot be used. A slug already taken by another of your pages is refused, and so is a word your site uses for its own addresses ("This slug is reserved by the platform"): access, account, api, app, auth, c, checkout, cli, documents, embed, index, login, login-with-magic-link, p, r, sign-with-link, status, testimonial, verify, wall-of-love.
The Offer row warns when the page cannot sell: "The product is a draft - it cannot be bought" or "The checkout is inactive - it cannot be bought". Fix those in the product or the checkout (see Create a checkout).
Order form puts the payment on the page itself. The assistant designs the order section in the page's style and points the buy buttons at it; you choose Two steps (buyer details first, then payment) or One step. It is an AI edit: it takes about a minute, uses credits, and the previous version is kept in the page history.
Visibility
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Access | Everyone (public page) by default. Pick Products that grant access to restrict it: only logged-in clients with access to one of those products see the page; everyone else lands on a screen with a login and a buy button. |
| Files | Files people can download on this page, added with Add a file from the library. The list shows at the bottom of the page. On a restricted page the files are protected the same way as the page. |
| SEO | Meta description (shown in search results and link previews) and Hide from search engines. |
| Cookie banner | Show the cookie banner on this page. The banner appears only when it is enabled for your site under Your site → Settings → Privacy & legal. Hiding it here does not grant consent: pixels load only for visitors who accepted cookies elsewhere on your site. |
A restricted page is always hidden from search engines. Files and images linked inside the page content still open for anyone who has their address, so put downloads that must stay private in Files.
Tracking
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Pixels | Shows the pixels active on the page. With none connected, Zanfia still counts entries and signups, and Connect a pixel opens the integration (/integrations/analytics). |
| Conversion event | The event sent to your pixels when this page opens: None, Lead (signup), CompleteRegistration, Purchase or Custom name. For a thank-you page after a signup pick Lead. |
Pixels and analytics are described in Connect tracking pixels and analytics tools.
Publish a page
Click Publish
In the editor's top bar click Publish. Unsaved changes are saved first, so the live page matches what you see. You get "Page published" and the button turns into a green Published status. From the pages list, the same action is Publish in the page's menu.
Deal with placeholders
If the page still contains [FILL IN] markers, a window titled The page still has placeholders lists them under "Visitors would see these unfinished spots:". Cancel and fix them, or click Publish anyway.
Open it
Click Open live to see the page in a new tab, or the link icon to copy its address. If these are disabled with "Set up your store address first.", set your site address (see Site address and main page).
Unpublish when needed
Click the Published status and choose Unpublish. You get "Page unpublished" and the page is a draft again. Pages created as a set (a thank-you page, a webinar room) follow the main page both ways.
Good to know
A draft has the same address as the published page, but only your team can open it. Open preview shows it under the bar "This page isn't published - only workspace members can see it." A visitor who is not logged in is sent to the login page; a logged-in person outside your team sees a page-not-found screen.
Advanced
Advanced at the bottom of the tab holds the page's HTML: Edit raw HTML opens the code view and the download icon saves the page as a file. Pages with a signup form also show Form widget and embed, which opens the form.
