Connect Stripe
Connect your Stripe account to take card, BLIK, Przelewy24 and Klarna payments, read the connection and payment-method statuses, turn on Stripe Tax, register your domains, and disconnect safely.
Connecting Stripe lets your checkouts take payments on your own Stripe account, including subscriptions and installments. When you finish, the Stripe card shows Connected, you know which payment methods are active, and you know where Stripe Tax and domain registration live.
Open the Payments tab
In the sidebar open Integrations and choose Payments (/integrations/payments). Stripe is
in the Global payments section. Click Connect on the Stripe card.
Connect with Stripe
A window titled Connect Stripe to accept payments opens. Click Connect with Stripe. You are taken to Stripe, where you log in or create a Stripe account and approve the connection. Stripe then sends you back to Zanfia.
Confirm the connection
Back in Zanfia a Stripe connected window confirms: "Your Stripe account was connected successfully. You can now accept payments through Stripe." Click Got it. The Stripe card moves to Connected and its button changes to Manage.
Check the payment method statuses
Click Manage. Under Payment method statuses there is one chip each for Card, Przelewy24, BLIK and Klarna. A green dot means the method is active on your Stripe account; a red dot means it is not, and hovering the chip shows Inactive, Pending or Rejected. "Some payment methods may require additional steps to be activated by you": use Manage payment methods in your Stripe panel to finish them on the Stripe side.
Register your domains
Under Your domains registered in Stripe each address your checkouts run on is listed as
Registered or Not registered. Zanfia's own pages are added automatically. Click Sync
domains to register the missing ones; an unregistered domain can block Apple Pay and Google Pay
on the store served from it. If you embed a checkout on your own website, click Add a new
domain and add that domain too (subdomains, and the www and non-www versions, count as
separate domains).
Good to know
Zanfia connects to your Stripe account in live mode, so a card payment on a published checkout is a real charge. To rehearse a purchase without moving money, use Test purchase in the checkout editor, described in Take your first sale.
What each connection state looks like

Stripe Tax
The Stripe Tax section of the Manage window has one switch: "Automatically calculate and collect taxes on purchases using Stripe Tax."
- The switch is disabled until Stripe Tax is active on your Stripe account. In that case a warning reads Stripe Tax is not active on your Stripe account and explains what to do in the Stripe Dashboard: open Settings → Tax, confirm your head office address, and add tax registrations for the countries where you collect tax. Use Open Stripe Tax settings, then come back and click Check again.
- With the switch on, Default tax behavior appears with two options: Inclusive (price includes tax), where the customer always pays the listed price, and Exclusive (tax added to price), where tax is added on top and the total varies by country.
- "This setting applies to all your checkouts by default. If you need a different tax behavior for a specific checkout, you can override it in the checkout builder."
Defaults for prices
Under Workspace settings in the same window:

Each price also has its own gateway setting in the checkout editor, so you can still decide price by price.
Disconnect Stripe
At the bottom of the Manage window click Disconnect integration. The confirmation warns: "All Stripe subscriptions will be disconnected from your account and all Stripe prices will stop working in your shopping carts until re-integration." Confirm only if you really want to stop taking Stripe payments in this workspace. Afterwards the card returns to Available.
Invoicing through Stripe uses this same connection; it is switched on separately on the Invoices tab. See Connect an invoicing system.
Coming soon
Importing an existing Stripe catalog and existing Stripe subscriptions into Zanfia is not open to everyone yet, so the Manage window does not show an import section.
