Cancel or resume your Zanfia plan

Cancel your Zanfia subscription so it ends with the current billing period, understand what stops working when it ends, and resume it before that date.

Cancelling your Zanfia plan does not switch anything off on the spot. The plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, you are not charged again, and you can take the decision back at any time before that date. This article is about the plan you pay Zanfia for; ending a subscription of one of your own clients is covered in Cancel or revoke a subscription.

Cancel the plan

1

Open Billing

Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner and choose Billing (/settings/billing). Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Cancel subscription. Only the workspace Owner sees this button, and only on a paid plan that is not already ending.

2

Read what you lose

The Cancel your subscription? window says "Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period." and lists What you'll lose when your plan ends: your clients lose access to their courses, communities and downloads; your store stops accepting new payments; you lose access to your dashboard and creator tools; your automations, API and AI assistant stop working.

3

Confirm or keep the plan

Click Yes, cancel anyway to cancel, or No, keep my access to close the window without changes. Closing the window with the X also keeps the plan. After cancelling you see Subscription cancelled successfully.

4

Check the end date

The plan section at the top of the page now shows Ends with the date instead of Next payment, and the main button changes from Change the plan to Resume subscription.

Resume before the end date

Until the end date, click Resume subscription at the top of Settings → Billing. You see Subscription resumed successfully, the end date disappears, Next payment is back and the plan renews as before. Nothing is charged for resuming.

What happens when the plan ends

WhoWhat they see
You (the Owner)A full-screen page instead of the app. Nothing is deleted: choose a plan on that screen and the workspace unlocks by itself after the payment.
Your team membersThe same screen with "Ask the workspace owner to renew the plan to restore access.", a list of their other workspaces, if any, and Log out.
Your clientsThey lose access to the products of this workspace until a plan is active again.
Visitors to a checkoutYour checkouts stop accepting orders.

Good to know

There is no Cancel subscription button during the free trial, because there is nothing to cancel: a trial simply runs out. If you have several workspaces on one subscription, cancelling ends the plan for all of them, because they share one subscription and one invoice; there is no self-serve way to stop paying for just one of them, so write to support in that case. A workspace can be deleted only after its subscription has ended; see Delete a workspace.
