Use a promo code on your Zanfia plan
Apply a Zanfia promo code when you buy or change your plan or buy a credit pack, check that the discount is included before you pay, and see it on the Billing page.
A promo code from Zanfia lowers what you pay for your own Zanfia plan or for a credit pack. You type it in Zanfia before you pay, so the discount is already included on the payment page. Codes you create for your own clients are a different feature; see Discount codes.
Apply a code to a plan
Open the plan picker
Go to Settings → Billing (/settings/billing) and click Change the plan. On a trial
account, Upgrade now in the trial banner opens the same window.
Open the code field
Below the plan cards click the small link Have a promo code?. It expands into a field with the placeholder Enter promo code and an Apply button. Clicking away from an empty field folds it back into the link.
Type the code and apply it
Type the code (upper or lower case, it is converted to capitals) and click Apply. A valid code is confirmed in green with Code [code] applied and the discount, for example -20%, plus a Remove link. A wrong or expired code shows This code is invalid or expired. and nothing is applied; correct it and try again.
Pick the plan
Click Change the plan on a plan card. On the Stripe payment page (first purchase) or the Stripe confirmation page (plan change) the discount is already listed next to the price, so there is nothing to retype. If the change is confirmed in the Confirm plan change window inside Zanfia, the amount shown there already includes the discount.
Check the Billing page
After payment, the plan section of Settings → Billing shows the original price struck through, the price you actually pay, and a green tag with the coupon name and the discount.
Apply a code to a credit or minute pack
Click Buy credits or Buy minutes on Settings → Billing or Settings → Usage. The same Have a promo code? link is below the pack list. After you apply a code, every pack shows its original price struck through next to the button and the discounted price on the button. The confirmation step then shows the discount already included in Total to pay.
The confirmation step itself has no code field. To use a code there, click Back and apply it under the pack list. More about packs: Buy AI credits, transcription minutes and storage.
Good to know
A code applies only to the purchase you complete in that sitting. If you close the window and open it again, the Have a promo code? link is back and the code has to be applied again. Whether a code lowers only the first payment or every payment depends on the code itself; the plan section of the Billing page always shows the price you are currently charged.
