AI Assistant and Magic Box overview

What the AI Assistant and the Magic Box do, where you find them in the dashboard, what the Assistant can and cannot do on its own, and which actions use AI credits.

Zanfia has two AI tools built into the dashboard. The AI Assistant is a chat that knows your account and does the work with you: it reads your products, sales and clients, and it can create and change things when you ask. The Magic Box is a single text box that turns a one-sentence idea into a drafted product.

Two tools, two jobs

ToolWhat it isUse it when
AI AssistantA chat available on every screen of the dashboard. You want something done or explained: a price added, a lesson drafted, a sales question answered.
Magic BoxThe idea box on the product creation screens. You want a new product built from a short description, a website or a few keywords.

The two work together. After the Magic Box builds a product, the Assistant opens on the new product with Your draft is ready! ✨ and suggests the next step.

Where the Assistant lives

Entry pointWhere
The floating pill with the Assistant's avatar and a short question such as Got a task for me?Bottom center of almost every dashboard screen. Click it or press the / key.
Agents → AI Assistant in the sidebar (it reads Talk to [name] once the Assistant has a name)The full-page chat at /assistant, with your conversation history on the left.
The Assistant tab on the Dashboard/dashboard?view=assistant.
The first card in Agents → My team/agents. Click the card to chat, or the gear on it to personalize the Assistant.

The pill is hidden where the chat is already open (the full-page chat and the Assistant tab) and in the page editor, which has the same Assistant in its own side panel.

What the Assistant can do

The Assistant works on your real data, not on general advice alone. It can look things up (products, checkouts, orders, clients, reports, community posts), create and edit (products, checkouts and prices, discount codes, course lessons and quizzes, pages, automations, community posts), and take you to the right screen. The full list with example requests is in What you can ask the Assistant to do.

Three rules keep you in control:

  • Risky changes wait for you. Anything customers would notice, such as publishing a checkout or changing a price, appears as a card titled Action requires your approval. Nothing happens until you click Approve. See Approve the Assistant's actions.
  • It asks before it posts or sends. Messages to your community or to a client are shown to you word for word first, with quick-reply buttons to confirm.
  • It respects team roles. A team member talking to the Assistant gets only what their role allows in the dashboard. Someone without access to clients cannot get the client list through the chat.

What the Assistant does not do

  • It does not permanently delete products, checkouts, prices, channels, roles, newsletter issues or messages. Where a reversible option exists (hide, archive, unpublish, disable), it offers that instead.
  • It does not send email campaigns. It can prepare a draft; you review and send it yourself.
  • It does not send one message to all your clients at once.
  • It does not upload files or connect integrations, payment gateways and custom domains for you. It explains the steps and opens the right screen.
  • Features shown as Coming soon in your menu are not available through the Assistant either.

What uses AI credits

Every AI action draws from your account's AI credits: chatting with the Assistant, building a product with the Magic Box, generating ideas from a website, generating pages and images, and voice dictation. Video transcription has its own pool of minutes. Where to see the balance and what happens when it reaches zero is in AI credits.

Coming soon

Recruiting additional AI agents for your team (a community expert, a copywriter, an analyst and others) is not open yet. Agents → My team already shows the Recruit your agent card; clicking it lists the roles that are on the way.
