Personalize the Assistant

Give the AI Assistant a name and a face, describe your audience and tone in the Brand Book, choose how it navigates and listens, and review what it remembers about you.

The Assistant writes in your name, so it helps when it knows who you sell to and how you sound. When you finish this page your Assistant will have its own name and avatar, a Brand Book it applies to everything it writes, and the preferences you want.

1

Open the settings

Click the gear icon (Assistant settings) in the header of the chat panel or of the full-page chat (/assistant). You can also open Agents → My team (/agents) and click the gear on the Assistant's card. The window My Assistant opens over the screen you are on, with four sections on the left: Identity, Brand Book, Preferences and What your assistant remembers.

2

Identity: name, voice, language and avatar

In Assistant name type what you want to call it (up to 60 characters), for example Kasia or Max. Voice (She / He) decides how the Assistant speaks about itself; it matters in Polish grammar and changes nothing in English. Preferred language (Polish or English) is only a tiebreaker: the Assistant still answers in the language you write in. Under Avatar pick a style and a face, use Shuffle for other variations, or choose the monogram with initials. The preview line [name] is ready when you are. shows the result.

3

Brand Book: audience, tone and promises

Fill in three fields. Target audience: who you sell to, as specifically as you can (up to 1,000 characters). Tone of voice: how the Assistant should write for you, for example casual and direct with short sentences (up to 1,000 characters). Core promises: what your products promise to deliver (up to 2,000 characters). The Assistant uses these answers in every reply, so newsletters, sales copy and lesson outlines sound like you.

4

Preferences: navigation, dictation and memory

Auto-navigate when the assistant suggests a page: when on, the Assistant takes you to the screen it is working on; when off, you get a notice and decide yourself. Voice dictation: when on, the message box offers a microphone; turn it off to hide it for the whole account. Persistent memory: when on, the Assistant keeps lasting notes about you between conversations.

5

Review what the Assistant remembers

Open What your assistant remembers. The notes are grouped as Focus (what you sell and who it is for), Goals, Preferences (for example "Never suggest discounts") and Notes. You can edit any line, add one with Add, delete one with Remove, or wipe everything with Clear memory, which asks Clear everything your assistant remembers about you? This can't be undone. An empty list reads Nothing remembered yet.

6

Save

Click Save in the bar at the bottom of the window; identity, Brand Book, preferences and memory edits are saved together and the window closes with Assistant settings saved. The new name and avatar show up right away in the pill, the chat header and the sidebar entry, which now reads Talk to [name].

Good to know

The Brand Book and the memory are two separate things. The Brand Book is what you tell the Assistant on purpose. The memory is what it writes down while you work together; it fills up over time and you can correct it whenever it gets something wrong. With Persistent memory off, the memory section reads Persistent memory is turned off for this workspace. and nothing is kept between chats. If the switch itself is disabled with the note Persistent memory isn't available in this environment yet., memory cannot be turned on for your account at this time.

Who the settings apply to

The name, avatar, Brand Book and preferences belong to the account, so everyone on your team talks to the same Assistant. Conversations and memory notes are personal: each team member has their own history and their own notes. Voice dictation uses AI credits while you speak; see AI credits.
